Synergus is Med Tech consulting company with focus on market access, reimbursement and health economics for medical devices in European countries.
Places are available for internship for students of Bioentrepreneurship, Health Economics, Biostatistics and Public Health Master Programs during entire calendar year. Offer of permanent position is also possible after successful internship.
A broad range of research topics is available for interns, including, but limited to:
- Drivers of market uptake for innovative medical devices in European countries
- Factors, influencing decision-making of reimbursement and health technology authorities in European countries
- Reimbursement and funding of in-vitro diagnostics in European countries
- Funding of capital equipment in European countries
- Establishment of price for medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics in European countries
- Procurement mechanisms for medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics in European countries
- Analysis of trends in innovative technologies in multiple clinical areas: cardiovascular, neurology, imaging etc.
- Trends in health technology assessments of innovative medical devices in European countries
- Mapping of decision-makers for different health care settings in European countries
- Overview of economic evaluations of medical devices in European countries
- Development of decision analytic modelling for innovative technologies in European countries
- Analysis/mapping of patient pathway for diseases with availability of innovation with disruptive potential, for which change of patient pathway will be required
- Overview of patient registries in European countries
Work place will be provide in Synergus office in Täby. Interns will be supervised by experts at Consultant and Senior Consultant levels.
