The Norwegian Institute of Public Health has published a summary report regarding the management of medical devices in the New Methods system and the updated mini-HTA process
In May 2015, the Norwegian Institute of Public Health was commissioned by the Ordering Forum of New Methods, to hold the secretariat function of a Medical Device Management Group and update the mini-HTA process.
The report is a summary of the views expressed in the working group, and was used in the decision for introduction of criteria for the management of medical devices in "Guidelines for management of medical devices in New Methods", which was published on the New Methods website earlier this year.
