Market Access / HEOR Analyst – Nordics

The role:
Synergus AB, HEOR and market access consultancy, is seeking to find an experienced analyst with specific interest, skills and knowledge from either strategic market access consulting, data analytics of patient registry data, evidence synthesis or health economic modeling. This is a position within one of the leading consultancies in the field of medical devices and in-vitro diagnostics in Europe. There is considerable scope for the right individual to contribute to the ongoing development and direction of the company in a creative and collaborative atmosphere. The role is based at the Danderyd office in Stockholm. Most work will take place within the office.
Role objectives and aims:
- Responsible for market access activities related to the Nordic health care systems
- Performing reimbursement landscape analyses and strategy for entering the Nordic markets
- Extract and synthesise quantitative and qualitative data from research or healthcare information
- Interpret and communicate conclusions from research or healthcare information
- Be member of a project team executing either single or multi-country project engagement in the healthcare industry
Qualifications
Your profile:
- An understanding/interest of the health care systems in the Nordics and their interaction with the medical devices and diagnostics industry
- An understanding of scientific literature; clinical research, health economics data, patient outcomes data
- Ability to critically/analytically evaluate evidence and data sources
- Good communication skills, especially written and presentation skills
- High degree of written accuracy and attention to detail
- Self-motivation, enthusiasm, ambition and flexibility
- An enjoyment of solving intellectual challenges
Qualifications:
- Degree in a health related, life science or economics field
- Postgraduate qualification or post-degree experience e.g. PhD, Masters or equivalent experience in a health related field
- Excellent interpersonal and team-working skills and a positive attitude
- Experience in systematic reviews, economic modelling, health research or research design, evaluation and interpretation
- Experience in communicating complex concepts and information clearly to a range of audiences
- Excellent organizational, time management and interpersonal skills
- Word, powerpoint and excel skills
- Exceptional command of written and spoken English and one Nordic language (Swedish, Norwegian or Danish)
Desirable qualifications and attributes include:
- 1-2 years relevant experience from a research position, industry, consultancy, payer environment or academia
- Experience of programming and software such as SAS and R is an advantage
