INAMI has updated the List of Materials and the Nominative List of Materials for reimbursement of medical devices
The Belgian National Institute for Health Insurance and Disability (INAMI) has recently released the newest versions of Lists relevant for identification and reimbursement of medical devices. The new List of Materials includes codes, reimbursement conditions and tariffs of medical devices, identified through generic descriptions.
The Nominative List exists for a limited set of devices and implants included in the List of Materials and is valid for those technologies for which a brand-specific registration and tariff is required. The new lists entered into force on the 1st of January 2018.
