INAMI has released the new version of the national lists for reimbursement of medical devices
On the 14th of June 2017, the Belgian National Institute for Health and Disability Insurance (INAMI) released the updated version of the two lists existing for reimbursement of medical devices in Belgium, including the List of Reimbursable Materials and the Nominative List of Reimbursable Materials. The new versions will enter force on July the 1st.
The List of reimbursable devices includes codes, generic descriptions and tariffs or maximum ceiling prices of medical devices that can be used and reimbursed in Belgium. The Nominative List includes brand-specific codes and tariffs for those devices included in the generic List and for which registration in the Nominative list is mandatory.
