INAMI has implemented a reduction in tariffs of all medical devices included in the List of Materials and in the Nominative Lists
Following the budget conclave of July 2017, the Belgian Government has decided to implement cost control measures in the sector of implants and invasive medical devices, for savings accounting to 8 million EUR for the year 2018.
After consultation, the Commissions of the Convention of Providers of Implants and of insurance agencies decided to decrease maximum tariffs and prices of all medical devices and implants registered in the List of Materials and in the Nominative Lists. The decision applies to all devices and implants, except for implantable cardiac defibrillators, spine implants and hip prostheses.
