Health Economist
Job description and objectives:
- Design decision-analytic health economic models
- Develop protocols, provide support and perform analysis for within-trial economic evaluations
- Development economic sections of value dossier, reimbursement and health technology assessment submission dossier
- Development of Project Deliverables (reports, presentations, spreadsheets, protocols)
- On the basis of results of the projects, development and submission of manuscripts to biomedical journals
Required experience and competences:
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in industry, governmental bodies or consultancy is essential
- Programming or modeling skills (MS Excel)
- Good knowledge of at least one statistical package
- Knowledge of fundamentals of health economics, health technology assessment, health
- economic modeling, epidemiology, biostatistics and literature reviews
- Excellent English writing skills
- Knowledge of WinBUGS, R, ARENA would be of benefit
- Understanding of data and evidence requirements for reimbursement or HTA submissions in European counties is a benefit
- High level in analytical/logical thinking
- Experience in project management is a benefit
- Good presentation skills
- Ability to work independently
