The evolving role of Real World Evidence in supporting HTA decision-making
This webinar summarises and charts the increasing reliance of clinical outcomes databases and disease registries in supporting HTA decision-making. It will cover the types of data used, why it is used, it’s application in comparative effectiveness analyses and economic evaluation and some of the challenges and opportunities involved and what payers and regulators are looking for when it comes to real world data. Contemporary examples will be presented including a recent consideration of multiple sclerosis registry data by UK regulators to support assessment of multiple drug comparisons in complex treatment switch settings.
