Building super-registries: challenges and opportunities in “Big Data”

There is a large unmet need across many diseases requiring big data which single-country or even international registries lack the sample size and power to address. However, combining data from multiple registry sources can present formidable challenges in terms of inconsistencies in data quality, definitions and collection frequency.

This webinar will introduce a selection of techniques involved in both combining separate registries and managing the associated limitations and complications, with a focus on the recent Big MS data collaboration of the Danish and Swedish national MS registries, the Italian MS network registry, the French OFSEP registry and the MSBase international registry.
