Applications are now being taken for modification of the Swiss DRG system
The submission period for applications to modify the Swiss DRG system at SwissDRG SA, the company responsible for development of the tariff system, is now open.
Eligible national stakeholders, that is the Association of Hospitals (H+), the Medical Professional Associations (FMH), the Conference of the Cantonal Ministers of Public Health (GDK), and the Commission of Medical Tariffs (CTM), can submit their requests online on the SwissDRG SA website. Applications will be accepted from the 29th of May until the 10th of July 2017.
Requests may refer to:
- Modification of the DRG structure and tariff system, including proposals on the DRG logic, DRG splitting, inclusion or deletion of DRGs, and add-on reimbursements
- Modification of the Medical Statistics reporting system, including proposals for inclusion, deletion, and modification of the list of substances and medicines to be reported in the Medical Statistics system
- Editorial modifications, including proposals for correction of typos and correction of text
